HOW IT BEGAN: The idea to create Picofsky Hoffman Studios didn’t come until 2025, after being together for four years. The proverbial lightning struck while exploring Tenerife, in the Canary Islands. Natasha had the idea that Lenny should use her photographs as inspiration for his paintings. Surprised that neither of them had the idea to combine their skills previously, she immediately began working on the business which was incorporated four months later!

OTHER PURSUITS: We don’t stop there! Picofsky Hoffman Studios LLC recently released the first book in a new series for children: “Nellie the Nighthawk, Part One: Cat Island”, a story about a narcoleptic bird who falls asleep while flying and lands in some extraordinary situations! Her first adventure is to Cat Island where she encounters, you guessed it…Cats! We are completing the second book in the series now, “Alligator Alley” and will be ready for the 2026 Holiday Season. Lenny Hoffman
From an early age, Lenny knew he loved creating art. He is a native born Floridian who, during his early education, began creating his own comics. He flexed his artistic visions and skill into surrealism and self expressionism during his early adulthood.
This is also the time he discovered he had Schizoaffective disorder, causing a major setback in his life, which almost devastated him. Lenny found treatment from therapy and support from NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness and lives in daily recovery. Needing a creative output in his life became more important than ever, and he discovered making art made him feel good.
His passion now, is painting in acrylics in the style of Van Gogh using his own spin on color and movement. Lenny is also an illustrator for the Nellie the Nighthawk Series, a children’s story and coloring book written by his wife, Natasha Picofsky, whom he adores!
Natasha Picofsky Artist Bio
Natasha was born into travel as the daughter of a helicopter pilot. Growing up in Pennsylvania, her love of nature, photography, painting, and the fine arts in general, evolved. She possesses a skill for finding the human-nature emotional connection within landscapes and light, then capturing that essence in her photography.
Her creative abilities also include writing, ceramics, woodworking, painting, mosaics, and much more!
Still passionate about traveling, she continues to roam around the world looking for her next artistic inspiration.
